Osteoform for Back Pain
Since calcium strengthens bone and cartilage, helps transmit
nerve impulses and contracts muscles, calcium may help alleviate
back pain. As people age, bone strength and muscle elasticity
and tone tend to decrease. The spinal discs begin to lose fluid
and flexibility, which decreases their ability to cushion the
vertebrae.
Pain can occur when, for example, someone lifts something too heavy
or overstretches, causing a sprain, strain, or spasm in one of the
muscles or ligaments in the back. If the spine becomes overly strained
or compressed, a disc may rupture or bulge outward. This rupture may
put pressure on one of the more than 50 nerves rooted to the spinal
cord that control body movements and transmit signals from the body
to the brain. When these nerve roots become compressed or irritated,
back pain results. Low back pain may reflect nerve or muscle irritation
or bone lesions. Thus, it is important to ensure adequate calcium intake
to replenish your body to aid in the daily activities of the nerves,
muscles and bones. Osteoform’s unique formula with its calcium
amino acid chelate is the perfect supplement to aid the healthy functioning
body.

Osteoform
for Muscle Spasms
The role calcium plays in both the transmission of nerve impulses and contraction
of muscles, can also contribute to involuntary muscle spasms or cramps. Spasms
and cramps are abnormal muscle activity that can some times result in painful
unexpected muscle contractions. These include stiffness at rest, slow muscle
relaxation, and spontaneous contractions of a muscle at rest, called fasciculation.
Fasciculation is a type of painless muscle spasm, marked by rapid, uncoordinated
contraction of many small muscle fibers.
Normal voluntary muscle contraction begins when electrical signals are sent from
the brain through the spinal cord along nerve cells called motor neurons. At
the muscle, chemicals released by the motor neuron stimulate the internal release
of calcium ions to react with muscle proteins within the cell. This shortens
the cell and in turn, the muscle itself and contracts the muscle. Abnormal contractions
are caused by abnormal activity at any stage in this process. The likelihood
of developing cramps may be reduced by eating a healthy diet with appropriate
levels of calcium and regular exercise. Supplementation with Osteoform provides
the nutrition the body needs to support a healthy body. |

Osteoform
for Menopause
Menopause is a natural event where woman’s body undergoes changes. Every
woman experiences this usually between the ages of 45-55, but sometimes as early
as their 30’s and as late as their 60’s. It is not a disease, however,
many issues arise from this period including losses in bone density which contributes
to Osteoporosis. According to the International Osteoporosis Foundation, it
is estimated that worldwide one in three women over 50 years of age will suffer
an osteoporotic fracture.
Declining estrogen levels during menopause contributes to increased risk
bone loss during this period. It is estimated that the average woman loses
up to 10 per cent of her bone mass in the first five years of menopause.
Recent studies show that a health diet with adequate calcium along with regular
exercise may prevent osteoporosis. If the peak bone mass before menopause
is less than ideal, the bone loss during menopause may result in osteoporosis.
Ensuring adequate intake of calcium to increase peak bone density may prevent
against osteoporosis. Osteoform provides highly efficient and usable calcium
amino acid chelate plus eight other chelated trace minerals with vitamin
D„x for your bones and
general health. |

Junior for Children
During a child’s developmental years, they are preparing for adulthood.
Whether in school or out at recess, they are learning the invaluable lessons
about life for their future. The proper nutrition is just a vital as any other
developmental tasks. Eating a healthy diet with the proper nutritional elements
is a preparation for the child’s body for the future.
However, with this day and age of fast food and quick convenient meals, children
are receiving less and less nutrition through meals. Just as parents supplement
their nutritional intake, so should children. Osteoform Junior provides a healthy
dose of efficient usable calcium and magnesium for development of the body and
zinc for immune system function to support children during their most important
developmental years. |
